Bob Miller's Appliance Sales and Service, Inc. can trace its beginnings to Bob & Betty Jo Miller. In 1963, after 8 years of working for others in the appliance repair business, Bob & Betty Jo decided to start their own washer and dryer repair service company. Bob's goal was and still is "to provide quality and reliable repair service to the Michiana area".

His belief in the quality of Whirlpool appliances was one reason they decided to branch out and not only become an authorized servicer, but also an authorized dealer. With the purchase of the appliance side of a company called Myers & Wynne in Roseland, they were able to make their dreams a reality.

In a span of 10 years it became clear they needed to expand their operations. In 1982 Bob Miller's Appliance moved into the 1614 Ssss. Main Ssssouth Bend location where they stayed for 20 years.

The reputation of quality and reliability prompted the need for further expansion. In 2002 the Miller family moved the business to it's current location at 2700 S. Main Street which is a 28,500 square foot building. A lot of changes have occurred at Bob Miller's Appliance in the last 45 years. Bob Miller's Appliance has always sold the full line of Whirlpool appliances. During the past 20 years they have added other top quality appliances such as Amana, Maytag, Frigidaire, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Fisher & Paykel, Bosh and Thermador. They have recently added LG and Northland Kitchen appliances as well. In 2005 Bob Miller's Appliance opened its Simmons mattress showroom and since then have added both Symbol, Tempur-Pedic and Majestic mattresses.

Bob Miller's still has its own in house service department plus a large in-stock parts department. Bob Miller's also maintains a full delivery crew to offer quick and professional service.

For the last 15 years the Corporation has been led by Chris Miller, President and his wife Lisa. There are many long term employees like Rachelle Bates, Business Manager who has been with the company for 20 years! General Manager Kevin McDonald, Service Manager Jeff Bradley, and Parts Manager Larry Peak have helped Bob Miller's Appliance Company give the best possible customer service.

Bob Miller's Appliance Sales & Service, Inc. is now more determined than ever to continue providing quality service to their customers in South Bend and the surrounding areas.
